2020/POINT OF VIEW

Early February I renewed my Sunday print subscription to the New York Times. I wanted to begin a series of collages that would provide a visual process for (re)contextualizing media and perhaps find my place in these times. All of the content is from the NYT's and done by hand (cut and glue). Recently, I have been making collages on plex with resin. I call them "windows" because the newsprint becomes transparent and the juxtaposition of front to back creates a window effect. My point of view in strange times.
